Heejung is an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a minor in Statistics. She is currently working on understanding the role of bacteriophage in the gut microbiome. Over the summer, she was funded by the John and Paige Lapinski Undergraduate Fellowship awarded by the BMB department at Penn State. Outside of school, she enjoys reading and painting.
